1/4/2019 -- New school curriculum in Perth, Australia will have students in year three (age 7-9) dressing up in clothing and playing with toys meant for the opposite sex in an attempt to "explore gender" and "break down gender stereotypes," the Daily Mail reports.
The curriculum also teaches "multiculturalism" by having the students dress up in Burkas, the traditional Islamic garment that covers the entire body except for the eyes.
One vocal critic of the program, Peter Abetz of the Australian Christian Lobby, expressed his concerns by saying "It will indoctrinate children with the idea that they than choose to be a boy or a girl. Why do boys need to get dressed up in girls clothing? Let's get real about education."
The $1 million program is called "Respect Relationships," and has the backing of the McGowan Government in Western Australia. It will be introduced to schools in February.
